Holiday Camps for families in May 2024.

Announcing 4 Holiday Camps at St Stanislaus Villa, Lonavla.

Camp 1 : from Sunday, 5 May morning till Friday, 10 May 8.30 am.

Camp 2 : from Friday, 10 May morning till Wednesday, 15 May 8.30 am.

Camp 3 : from Thursday, 16 May till Tuesday, 21 May 8.30 am.

Camp 4 : from Tuesday day, 21 May till Sunday, 26 May 8.30 am.

The Camps will be conducted by Fr Francis de Melo s j.

Charges : Rs 4950 plus G.S.T. for a five day stay and additional breakfast. Rs3100 plus GST for a child.

A bus service is available for those interested. The bus will leave from St Peter’s Church, Bandra at 6.30 am on the first day of each Camp and return on the last day of the Camp at 8.30 am. to St Peter’s. The cost per person per one way trip is Rs 400.

Bookings are made only through Ms Manali in the school office (mobile 9619629652). Our rooms have bunk beds totalling 5 per room. A family may have to share a room with another family or individual if there are bunks to spare.

Welcome to our ‘Seniors Lenten Mini-Retreat 2020’  tailor-made just for you dear seniors. You may come with your spouse, a group or alone. At the ‘Seniors Lenten Mini-Retreat 2020’,  there will be inputs, the Eucharist, and a Lenten activity for each day and time for your own personal quite. We’re sure you will have a spirit-filled time with Jesus and come back refreshed to take on life with renewed energy. The retreat directors are Fr. Charles Rodrigues & Fr Gerard C. Rodricks sj.

The St Stanislaus Villa is a Jesuit Villa in the Woods –  just 100 km from Mumbai & just 2 km from Lonavala station.  It consists of 3 charming bungalows with 28 rooms, a main hall, Conference room, dining room & kitchen. There’s also a Chapel to refresh your soul. The property has 7 acres of forested land with tall trees and bushes, birds chirping, swings, see-saws, park-sets, benches, hammocks and open spaces to walk, run, play or to just to reconnect.

Summer 2020: SVP Catholic Family Holiday Camp

St Stanislaus Villa, Lonavala has been organising Catholic Family Holidays Camps for over 50 years. This Year we would like to have a special 5 day holiday camp just for our Catholic SVP Families, with the aim that our Catholic Families who would normally not be able to afford a holiday at Lonavala may now have one and absolutely free.

At the SVP Catholic Family camp, there will be  fun filled activity right through the day; or if you prefer just to relax & ‘chat with an old friend or make a new one; Since this is a Catholic Family Camp, there’s the daily Eucharist  in the morning & we pray the Rosary in the evening. And then of course there’s the sumptuous meals.  We’re sure our Catholic SVP families will have a super time…… Yes! It is a ‘Little bit of Heaven!!!’

As we are keen on having full families at the camp: Here’s what makes a ‘Family’ at the Family Holiday Camp:

  1. Ideal Family: Mother & Father with children (+/- Grandparents or other relatives allowed)
  2. Mother (OR) Father with Child/children (+/- Grandparents or other relatives allowed)
  3. Wife & Husband without kids. (Few Rooms available)

Charges: While this camp is absolutely free, we will be charging Rs 650/- per head for the bus service. If you are not coming by bus we will still take Rs 650/- per head as a refundable deposit.

(Bus Seating is on First come, first Serve basis and return journey is in the same place)

 Senior Camp : 5 Days – Wed 13th May (a.m.) to Sun 17th May (p.m.)

This year we plan a ‘Seniors’ Holiday Camp’ tailor-made just for you dear seniors. We are going to show the youth that age is the matter of the mind and that having Fun grows with experience. Please note that youth are not allowed to gate-crash at our  exclusive ‘Seniors’ Holiday Camp’.

You may come with your spouse or a group or alone.

At the ‘Seniors’ Holiday Camp’, there will be super fun filled activity right through the day where you can ‘let your hair down’ (of what’s left); or if you prefer just relax & chat about good old  chor-police, and dubba-ispice,  Your old or new flame or about ‘mobile’ simply meaning, ‘Able to move’ and not some restricting gadget. Since this is a Catholic Holiday, there’s the daily Eucharist  in the morning & Rosary in the evening. And then of course there’s the sumptuous meals.  We’re sure you are going to have the time of your life and then count yourself blessed to be a Senior!!!

And then of course there’s the sumptuous meals.  We’re sure your family will have a super time…… Yes! It is a ‘Little bit of Heaven!!!

  4.  Grandparents with Grandchildren   (This is an exception – We will require a note from the grandparents stating why the parents can’t make it for the camp & stating that they have received permission from parents to allow their kids to go trekking knowing the risks involved)

‘Seniors’  Holiday Camp: We now have a camp specially tailor-made for Seniors:

  The ‘Seniors Holiday Camp  – so as far as possible seniors without families present, are requested to attend this camp.
